This regional celebration of visual and performing arts was scheduled for April 4 from 10 am to 4 pm but due to the corona virus outbreak, the actual day of activities is cancelled.

Through the magic of technology we will continue to deliver the cornerstone of Festival of Arts which is the student art competition.  The best student artwork from twenty five regional middle and high schools is being installed on the second floor walls of UWM Washington County.

Our esteemed judges, Graeme Reid, Lynn Molenda and Josh Lesniak will be judging the art work early week.  Winners will be announced by Sunday March 29. An online virtual awards presentation will take place the weekend of April 4-5.  More details on that to follow.

Dedicated Washington County Campus  Foundation volunteers have adorned second floor of the UWM-WC with the 2020 Festival of Arts student art exhibition.(Pictured from L-R) Al Rudnitzki, current WCCF scholarship winners Paul Winkler, Joseph Schimp and Robert Perzigian and Ambassador Council member Dr. Don Muth.

In addition to the awards presentation, we are hoping to include other virtual experiences of Festival of Arts on our website including:

  • the entire exhibition online for a virtual tour
  • selected artists from our artist marketplace where you can purchase their work online
  • possible selections from our musicians
  • and more – stay tuned for more updates
